In the United States alone, there are approximately 550,000 dialysis patients,
and annual healthcare costs for dialysis exceed $23 billion.

Currently, around 85% of dialysis treatments are administered at dialysis centers or medical facilities,
creating a need for alternative solutions that can improve patients' quality of life
and reduce the burden on healthcare professionals.

Additionally, access to dialysis during natural disasters or in developing countries remains a critical issue.

To address these challenges, we are developing a compact, portable hemodialysis device
that does not rely on water infrastructure, paving the way for more accessible and flexible dialysis care worldwide.
